Dr. James Sunners is an an amazing dentist who did a great job relieving the discomfort I was experiencing with my teeth. I drove from Philadelphia with my husband all the way to Boston to get relief. Dr. Sunners resolved my issues with my teeth and discovered one my teeth have a crack in it causing much discomfort. He also is emailing my dentist in Philadelphia to recommend a specialist to do a root canal.

Dr. Sunners is a patient, kind and competent Dentist. My 10 year old son was very concerned when he learned he needed a filling. He was consumed with anxiety anticipating his appt. Dr. Sunners called us at home in the evening to discuss what was going to happen well in advance and address my son’s concerns. On the day of the appt. he took great care to see that my son felt in control of the situation and everything went beautifully! Despite not being a pediatric dentist specifically, he continues to provide excellent care to all three of our children -in addition to my husband and myself.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Sunners. He has been my dentist for 18 years and I would not go see another dentist ever. I recently had a bad fall off my bike and fractured multiple teeth. Dr. Sunners saw me the same day I called and made a call to an endodontist who saw me immediately after leaving Dr. Sunners office. He referred me to an oral surgeon who saw me the same day and started treatment. Dr. Sunners checked in with me that night to find out what had happened and how I was feeling. When I updated him and told him how depressed I was at how much would need to be done in the future, he said “we will get through this one step at a time.” I believe him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sunners for about 3 years now after moving to Natick. I have veneers, multiple fillings, crowns and have had two gum grafts (all prior to moving to Natick). Dr. Sunners is an excellent dentist who treats me and my teeth with great care and takes the time to explain his recommendations to me. Additionally, he is well connected in the dental community and I very much value this. Twice I have needed referrals and Dr. Sunners was able to get me in to see excellent specialists right away because of his relationships. I highly recommend Dr. Sunners. He cares about my teeth as much as I do.

Dr. Sunners and his team are wonderful! I had a dental emergency and was not a current patient, but he stayed late to fit me in and resolved the issue with amazing care and compassion. He was very calm and reassuring through the process, which made a world of difference! Highly recommend. Also, the office feels very safe with many COVID-19 procedures in place.
