Tooth Bonding
Tooth Bonding is the process in which a tooth-colored filling material, called Composite Resin, is used to restore a damaged or discolored tooth. The moldable material is hardened by the use of the curing light, which renders the material to it’s maximum strength upon contact with the light. Bonding can be used to cover flaws in teeth like discoloration, minor tooth gaps, chips, slightly crooked teeth or restoring decayed teeth, to name just a few of it’s uses. Dr. Sunners will apply the appropriate Bonding material so he can contour your tooth in the correct shade, to provide you with a satisfactory result. Depending on your bite and how well you care for your teeth, Composite Resin Fillings should last for up to 10 years.
